Product Information

Order PS15 CGS Canada Printed model @ £6.50

The CGS Canada was ordered by the colony of Canada as the last of a series of ships designated for fishery protection duties. The CGS Canada fast and quickly proved her worth patrolling the rich fishing grounds in the Atlantic. When the Canadian Navy was formed in 1911, she was transferred to it to act as a training ship for officers and seamen. She was decommissioned in 1919 and converted into a small cruise ship. She sank in mysterious circumstances in 1926.

The model shows the CGS Canada as she appeared when built.
