MV Marwina - Marine Modelling International December 2009

This model of the buoy tender MV Marwina was published in the December 2009 issue of the UK magazine Marine Modelling International, published by Traplet Publications Ltd. The model was designed to be easy to build by novice card modellers but still assemble into an accurate and detailed representation of the real ship.
An additional sheet of alternative, more detailed parts was made available from the Traplet website to allow experienced modellers to build a more challenging model.
The MV Marwina was chosen as a subject for its simple lines and striaghtforward design. The ship was built in Holland in 1999 and is in service in Suriname as a buoy tender and survey vessel.
