GB, Coastal Tanker, 1923
Ben Read was built in Bristol in 1923 as a small coastal oil tanker for the National Benzole Company. She had 4 tanks and was able to carry about 500 tons of refined products as cargo. The model shows Ben Read as she appeared when launched.
