PS30 Rose Shell
GB/Canary Islands, Oil Hulk, 1921
Rose Shell was built in the UK for use as a floating oil store at Los Palmas in the Canary Islands. Unpowered, she was towed to the Canary Islands and used until it became possible to build on-shore oil storage tanks.

The actual vessel had unusual "corrugated" sides and the model allows the more adventurous modeller to re-create this, while alternative simpler sides are also provided.
