Description

The MV Marwina is a small buoy tender operated by the Maritieme Autoriteit Suriname (MAS), who are responsible for maintaining navigational aids and buoys around the coast of Suriname. The Marwina was built by the Visser shipyards in the Netherlands and launched in 1996. As well as her role as a buoy tender she is also equipped to operate as a survey ship.

This card model was previously published as a magazine commission but has been re-issued and updated/revised to reflect her current appearance and colour scheme.
