Description
The Baltic was built in 2002 as a survey ship for use on the Baltic Sea coast of Germany. She is based in the port of Stralsund and operated by the WSH.
Her small size/draught and sophisticated onboard sonar equipment make her ideal for her role charting changes to the shallow waters and estuaries of the German Baltic coast.
The MV Baltic is nearly identical to the MV Wedel, based near Hamburg – also available as a model from Paper Shipwright.
