Description
The Wedel is a small survey vessel built in 2007 by Fassmer Werft and is operated by the Wasserstra??en- und Schifffahrtsamtes Hamburg. She is based at Wedel on the river Elbe just downstream of Hamburg and used for survey work along the river.
Her small size and draught and her on-board, sophisticated echo-sounding equipment make her ideal for river and estuary surveying work.
