Description
The MV Queen of the Isles was a small passenger/cargo ferry launched in 1964 to provide extra capacity on the route from Cornwall to the Scilly Isles. Traffic declined and she was sold, serving as an excursion steamer in the Irish Sea, as a ferry around Tongo in the Pacific and as a small cruise ship – before being abandoned as a derelict hulk in New Zealand.
